A self-proclaimed “dental nerd”, Dr. Geoff is extremely passionate about dentistry, working at West Seattle Smile Co. in Washington. He loves building lifelong relationships with his patients while helping them achieve the healthy smile they can be proud of.
One of his goals is to always involve the patient in the treatment plan. Dentistry is not a one size fits all profession, so he will ask each patient about their values and goals and develop a plan to achieve those goals.
Growing up in Olympia, Washington, Dr. Geoff decided to pursue dentistry when he job-shadowed his childhood dentist. He was inspired by his ability to alleviate pain and build confidence by improving smiles. So, he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a focus in Ecology at Western Washington University and then fulfilled his lifelong dream by earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Washington School of Dentistry, where he met Dr. Nicole.
With extensive training in comprehensive and complex dentistry, he takes pride in his ability to handle difficult cases. He is also an active member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Washington State Dental Association, and the Seattle King County Dental Association.
Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries, create beautiful smiles, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy.
A very active person, Dr. Geoff enjoys spending time in the great outdoors with his wife, Dr. Nicole, who is also a dentist at West Seattle Smile Co. He loves camping, mountaineering, kayaking, and more. Both he and his wife have summited 4 of the 5 Washington volcanoes and look forward to completing Glacier Peak. He is also a huge sports fan and has enjoyed following the Seahawks and Mariners for as long as he can remember.
