Academically, Dr. Kim obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from Central Washington University in 2009, followed by his Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic-West in 2013. His postgraduate training earned him expertise in functional range conditioning movement, strength and conditioning, selective functional movement assessment, functional movement, rocktape, McKenzie Method lumbar and cervical spine, postural restoration, functional and kinetic treatment with rehab, and applied kinesiology.

As a former collegiate athlete, Dr. Kim credits chiropractic care and physical therapy for peak performance and high durability. After playing 20+ years of baseball (including summer ball every year), he only missed three games.

Chiropractic is a form of alternative medicine that mainly deals with the diagnosis and treatment of mechanical disorders of the musculoskeletal system, especially the spine. A chiropractor uses spinal adjustments, manipulation, and other techniques to manage patients’ health concerns, including neck pain and back pain. They aim to improve patients’ functionality and quality of life by properly aligning the body’s musculoskeletal structure and enabling the body to heal itself without the use of medication or surgery.
