Can cavities spread from tooth to tooth?
Cavities can be prevented by limiting consumption of carbohydrates to three times daily. Snacking must be on low carbohydrate foods such as nuts, vegetables, eggs, meat, and fish. This does not include potatoes or corn or fruits. During the three main meals, you can eat as much carbohydrates as you want. You also need to brush daily, floss daily, have your teeth professionally cleaned twice a year, and have your teeth checked yearly by a dentist. These habits will prevent cavities.
