But it all depends on other factors as well, like your type of bite, bruxing, clenching, length of your crown and roots. The stronger, longer the teeth under the bridge, the better support as well. Of course, the good fit of the bridge also ensures its longevity. I have met patients that have bridges that are 20 years old, and others that have come with a failed bridge after 5 years
