“Is getting a heart stent serious?”
I am a 49 year old female. I want to know if getting a heart stent is serious?

No heart procedure can be considered simple really, but as heart procedures go, coronary angiography and angioplasty (stenting) is not really considered "serious" or dangerous; in proper hands, coronary stenting is a rather routine procedure.
