I can try to offer some general information that might help. The presence of a small lump in the front of your neck could have various causes, and while it's important to remember that many lumps in the neck are not serious, it's always a good idea to have any new or unusual lumps checked by a healthcare professional. Here are a few potential causes:

1. **Swollen Lymph Node:** Lymph nodes can become enlarged in response to infections, inflammation, or other immune system responses. They often return to their normal size as the underlying issue resolves.

2. **Cyst:** Cysts are fluid-filled sacs that can form anywhere in the body, including the neck. They are usually benign and may not cause pain.

3. **Thyroid Nodule:** The thyroid gland is located in the neck, and nodules can sometimes develop within it. Most thyroid nodules are non-cancerous, but further evaluation is often necessary.

4. **Skin Lesion:** Sometimes, a benign skin lesion or growth on the neck can feel like a lump.

5. **Other Causes:** There are various other potential causes, including lipomas (benign fatty tumors), salivary gland tumors, or less common conditions.

To determine the exact cause of the lump and whether any further evaluation or treatment is necessary, I recommend scheduling an appointment with a healthcare provider. They can perform a physical examination, possibly order imaging tests like ultrasound or a fine-needle aspiration if needed, and provide you with a more accurate diagnosis and guidance on the next steps. While many neck lumps are benign, it's always best to have them evaluated by a healthcare professional for your peace of mind and overall health.
It’s not normal or nature to have a lamp the front of the neck. So it needs further work up to find out what kind of lamp it is? It can be a lymp node from infection which can be treated with antibiotic. Or it can be a tumor, which needs further work up with Ultrasound and biopsy.
If it is new, it should be evaluated. A very simple ultrasound of the neck which is painless should give some starting answers for example whether it is from the thyroid, a lymph node or something unrelated.
A very small lump in the front of your neck can be a number of things. It is important to see a physician and have it examined and possibly worked up further. It can be a lipoma or it can be a lymph node. Sometimes lymph nodes become visible, because they enlarge due to infection, or worst case, cancer. So go see your physician!
A new lump that persists more than a couple weeks should be evaluated by your physician. They can be simple cysts, lymph nodes or abnormal growths in the thyroid or parathyroid gland.
It is important to have this checked by your healthcare provider. Its exact location is important. Its relationship to the thyroid or lymph node is important.
Depends on what kind of lump. Mobile, round. Also depends on the location. Recommend you to see a physician for examination
