What are the psychological effects of a stroke?

I am a 50 year old male. I want to know what are the psychological effects of a stroke?

It depends what part of the brain was affected by the stroke but anger issues and depression.
Stroke is a devastating illness. It deprives you of things that you are used to doing and take for granted. Your speech may be impaired; your mobility may be impaired. As a result of this disability as you probably guess already, patients get depressed. Depression is a major psychological after effect of stroke. With that said, it is treatable by seeing your internist.
