“What does facial reconstructive surgery involve?”
I read an article about an accident survivor who underwent reconstructive facial surgery from the jaw down. The results were very positive! What does this involve?

That usually is dependent on the injuries they suffered. Sometimes it is rebuilding something that is missing, or repositioning something that became displaced or out of position. Often times the reconstruction is too involved to accomplish in a single surgery and must be staged.
