There is a graft placed to repair the hole. If you seek out an experienced surgeon with previous good results, you should expect 90-100 percent on the first attempt. You have to follow the post-surgery instructions. PERIOD! Do not be careless in this. Being careless could determine a failure.
You would need to ask an ent surgeon. Plastic surgeons do not do this
