I drink occasionally and would like to know my liver health. What tests would you recommend to check my liver function?

A healthcare provider will take a blood sample from vein in your arm, using a small needle, blood will be collected in a tube and send it to the lab. Thank you.
The name of the test is LFTs (liver function tests). It is a battery of tests that check liver function. Usually your doctor can have them drawn or write an order for you to have them drawn at the lab of your choice. I suggest having your doctor explain the results to you since he/she knows your history. Just looking at labs on their own accord will not give you the whole story as to what is going on with you.
