If she wasn'tt hypertensive before pregnancy, then she is considered at a higher risk now. Pre eclampsia is a late stage elevation of the blood pressure in pregnancy and must be managed well to prevent complications.
If I understand you , your wife is noted to have elevated blood pressure in her 24th week of pregnancy. This is referred to as Pregnancy Induced Hypertension- PIH aka ( Gestational Hypertension). In any case this may lead to further complications such as pre-eclampsia which is defined as elevated blood pressure compounded with protein excretion in the urine during pregnancy, as well as eclampsia which is the condition as afore-described with seizures. This could also lead to liver injury called HELLP syndrome and to the worse case scenario hepatic rupture if this condition is not addressed promptly. There is also a potential risk of stroke. And certainly if mother is not doing well, baby will not fare well either. This is not to scare you but to bring you to appreciate the possible implications of uncontrolled elevated blood pressures in pregnancy. Hope this is helpful.
Many from stroke bleeding and placental separation prematurely
To have high blood pressure in pregnancy is not a good thing. It can cause lot of problems like placental abruption, DIC, eclampsia, or fetal demise, so I would visit an ob/gyn to get checked.
She may have preeclampsia, which is a very serious complication of pregnancy and can result in seizures and may even be fatal to mother and/or baby. She needs to be evaluated immediately by an obstetrician.
This depends on the location of the fibroids and the number the fibroids that are located in the lining of the uterus. Usually the Fibroids in the lining of the uterus cause problems like miscarriage, small babies, placental problems c- section. Hopefully all turns out well for you
Toxemia in pregnancy. Can affect you and fetus
High blood pressure arising in the second half of pregnancy could have deleterious effect on the mother and her pregnancy and must be treated as a high risk pregnancy
1-premature délivery
2-IUGR
Toxemia(pre éclampsie)
3-persistant hypertension after delivery
Tough to answer without more detailed info. Hypertension during pregnancy can be a significant risk. All pregnancies with elevated BPs are high risk it just a matter of how risky. If she had elevated BPs prior to pregnancy and not that much increased over what she had in the past then will need to followed closely and make sure baby grows and a normal pace and she has frequent visits especially in the last 2 months. She is at higher risk of developing preeclampsia which can also be a significant problem depending on when it develops and how severe it is. Discuss the signs and symptoms with your provider. Bottom line hers is a high risk pregnancy just hard to know how much of a risk without more and detailed information.
She may be developing pre eclampsia you need to discuss this with your ob/gyn
You may need help from maternal fetal medicine specialist
Untreated high BP can have several complications in pregnancy including fetal growth problems, abruption and mother is at risk for stroke. As long as the BP is treated, risks are minimal. Pre eclampsia has different pathological process compared to isolated high BP. Please discuss more with your OBGyn.

Take care!
The greatest risk is seizures if blood pressure is not managed properly. Eclampsia (seizures) can occur. Bed may be required along with bed rest to help control blood pressure. You should follow up with your physiatrist soon.
