What is the best diet for losing weight?

I am a 32 year old overweight male. I want to lose weight starting with a healthy diet. What is the best diet for losing weight?

Yes! Go for it! Losing weight will reduce your risk of numerous diseases. Eat plenty of fruits and veggies, a minimum of five servings a day. Several studies show that even more is better. Get rid of fried foods, minimize breads and other carbs, and choose low fat sources of protein. Remember that servings of meat should be the size of a deck of cards, and one a day is quite enough. Keep a food diary. Write down everything you eat or drink—-everything. Drink lots of water. And, of course, exercise daily.
