Welcome to the office of Wynatte Chu, DDS. Our dentist and team are thrilled to serve patients of all ages. Our dentist and team provide comprehensive family dentistry. We strive to make everything look as aesthitically ideal as well as functional. Dr. Chu understands that you want a smile that is beautiful as well as healthy.

Our dental office is dedicated to using up-to-date technology and techniques so that you receive the best treatment possible. We use all-digital X-ray for diagnoses, soft tissue lasers for gum treatments, and metal-free restorations. We also use some of the best labs in the country for the construction of restorations.

At our office, you will always see our dentist and get almost undivided attention from her. Our office has an intimate feel as our team is small. We know everything that is going on with your treatment. We develop relationships with our patients and are always friendly and understanding. Many of our patients have been with us for a long time, so they have become like family

Dr. Chu is an established general and cosmetic dentist who understands the needs and expectations of today’s dental patients. She knows that patients do not just want healthy teeth and gums; they want teeth and smiles that look great too. That’s why she specializes in both general dentistry and cosmetic dentistry techniques focused on improving patients’ oral health, all the while helping them to enjoy beautiful smiles at every age.

Born in New York City and raised in Westport, Dr. Chu has deep roots in the communities she serves. She is currently serving patients’ dental needs at her private dental practices in New York City, New York and in Westport, Connecticut. At both practices, Dr. Chu and her team of professionals provide comprehensive family dentistry, utilizing up-to-date technology and techniques so that patients can receive the best treatment possible. They use all-digital X-ray for diagnoses, soft tissue lasers for gum treatments, and metal-free restorations.

After earning her bachelor’s degree at Mount Holyoke College in 1999, Dr. Chu completed graduate studies in molecular biology and genetics at Long Island University, where she was inducted into the Beta Gamma Chapter of the Phi Sigma Biological Honor Society. In 2004, she completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree at the New York University College of Dentistry, followed by additional studies in advanced techniques and technology, including Invisalign, soft tissue lasers, and dental implants.

Dr. Chu is an active member of several professional societies, including the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the New York State Dental Association, and the Connecticut State Dental Association.

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. As a general and cosmetic dentist, Dr. Chu diagnoses and treats dental issues, as well as remains committed to her patients’ health and treatment objectives.
