What do you wish you knew before ovarian cancer was present in your life?
OC is not necessarily a death sentence. I am a 20.5 year survivor of Stage 3.
What do you want other women to know about ovarian cancer?
Keep a positive attitude. Be surrounded by those who love you and help you to be as stress-free as possible.
Most importantly, what has this journey taught you?
This journey has taught me SO much!! I learned to know myself better…strengths and weaknesses. And I was so much more conscious of choosing how I wanted to live each day. I have had 8 recurrences so had many chances to review and choose how I wanted to live and then doing it.
