Right wrist pain (excruciating when bending it a certain direction/angle)?
I am not sure what chronic FND stands for. But, by your description, it sounds like you may have a serious problem. You should have it evaluated by an orthopedic surgeon, sports medicine specialist, or a physical medicine specialist or rheumatologist. X-rays and possible MRI may be necessary. They can look at your elbow at the same time as well. READ MORE
What is a natural remedy for chronic elbow pain?
We use elbow braces which can be quite effective and I would guess that would be called natural. Stretching can be very effective and soft tissue release carried out by a massage therapist or physical therapist can be effective. Topical lotions can be helpful. Turmeric reduces inflammation in the body can be tried. Also you should avoid activities that may be causing your problem such as working out with weights that are too heavy in the gym or repetitively pitching a baseball with high velocity. READ MORE
Is it normal to hear a sprained knee crack a bit?
Cracking can occur in many joints with or without injury and is not of concern if the cracking is not painful. However, if the cracking is painful, then it should be investigated by careful exam, radiographs, and perhaps MRI scan. We recommend elevating and knee on pillows and then you can prop it up on your coffee table when you are watching TV. At work elevation is more difficult. READ MORE
Can I wear high heels after ankle replacement?
First, check with your surgeon. I think if it's not more than one inch, it would be OK. READ MORE
How do you strengthen your elbow ligaments?
Ligaments do not strengthen like muscles do with repeat weight lifting but strengthening your muscles will indirectly protect your ligaments against injury. When your muscles are weak, you are more prone to ligament injury. READ MORE
Shoulder pain?
I would need to know where your pain is located. If the pain is around the shoulder area, then stretching, additional time, and using anti-inflammatories will be helpful and the pain should gradually get better. Minor sprains and strains usually resolve by 3 months. If it does not resolve, he should see a specialist. If the pain is around the elbow, however, that might be more serious. Tears of the biceps close to the elbow usually require surgery and therefore you would need an evaluation by a specialist. READ MORE
Urge to crack my elbows?
It does not sound like a serious condition. Cracking and popping of joints is not harmful as long as the popping is not painful. But considering what you describe, I would highly recommend that you obtain an evaluation by a qualified orthopedic surgeon and at least obtain basic x-rays to rule out any potentially serious conditions which may later harm you. READ MORE

Thumb injury?
You are probably correct with your diagnosis. If your thumb is moving well and you are not having much pain then I think there is nothing to worry about. If the blue area enlarges in size or the thumb becomes more painful or you have difficulty moving it and then you should be evaluated by a medical professional. READ MORE
Abdomen pain?
I would need to know a lot more information about your condition to answer your question. Are you running a fever? You have loss of appetite? Are your bowel movements okay? Have you had difficulty walking? How long it has this acute pain been present? Have you had similar complaints? But considering your age everything should be treated urgently. Please visit your family physician or an urgent care to be evaluated as soon as possible READ MORE
Finger turning black or grey?
You should be evaluated by a medical professional for this problem. This is a circulation problem. The best specialties would be a vascular surgeon or rheumatologist. READ MORE
Why do I have pain in my left hip?
First of all you have to be sure that the pain is coming from your left hip joint. If the pain is in the lower back and buttock region, the pain is usually coming from the lower back. Hip pain typically occurs in the groin and lateral thigh and may radiate to the knee. A good examination can determine if the pain is coming from the hip joint or from the lower back. Radiographs and MRI studies may also be necessary to help the diagnosis. Then a treatment plan can be outlined. There are many good options and therefore you should seek care with a capable provider in your area. READ MORE
How long does it take to walk after spinal surgery?
For more minor spinal surgeries, they are usually done in the morning and the patient is discharged and walks home by the afternoon. For more significant spinal surgeries such as multilevel spinal fusion of the neck and back, they are usually walking with therapy the next morning and discharged home 1 or 2 days after the surgery able to walk freely. READ MORE
Horrible pain in lower back thigh?
One episode of the horrible pain is not alarming. We worry more if the pain is ongoing which they usually implicates a serious problem. A large bulging vein at your age is unusual and I would certainly have a physician evaluate it. If if you pulled your hamstrings usually the pain goes on for a while and is just now one sharp episode. READ MORE
Sprained ankle?
You cannot tell much from just looking at one MRI picture and it is not a great copy. You have to have someone read the MRI that has expertise and then combine that with an examination to get an opinion READ MORE
Can kyphosis be corrected in adults?
Kyphosis can improve with exercise and bracing in the growing years. It is another matter as an adult. Exercise is still very helpful. Proper posture maintenance and also proper diet including calcium and vitamin D are important to prevent progression. Physical therapy can be helpful. Rarely in severe cases if there is substantial disabling pain surgical options can be considered but they usually carry a high risk factor and the results are oftentimes not satisfactory. READ MORE
What is the latest treatment for sports related foot pain?
The first step is to consult a trained provider in sports injuries. This can be a physical therapist, a trainer, podiatrist, orthopedic surgeon, physical medicine specialist or even a primary doctor interested in sports medicine. You need to be evaluated and examined. X-rays or MRI may not be necessary as the first step. Many times doing appropriate stretching exercises, wearing of proper running shoes and activity modification may solve your problem. There is no such thing as the latest treatment. There are many advances in this field but primarily in surgical options which for most people are not necessary. READ MORE
Elbow pain?
Sounds like could be a serious injury. I would recommend as soon as possible to be evaluated by a qualified physician. X-ray should be obtained. I would be concerned about a possible fracture.
