Michael Berke, PA-C, is a physician assistant at Cardiothoracic & Vascular Surgery Associates in Aurora, CO. Prior to joining Cardiothoracic & Vascular Surgery Associates this year, Michael spent three years as a physician assistant at Colorado Cardiovascular Surgical Associates in Denver. As a physician assistant, Michael has specialized in cardiothoracic and vascular surgeries for his entire medical career. Additionally, he has assisted on a number of robotic surgical cases, including mitral valve repair/replacement, MAZE procedures, and lung operations. In his free time, Michael is an avid cyclist. At the age of 19, he cycled across the U.S. — from Oregon to Virginia — in an effort to raise over $12,000 for cancer research on the Believe in the Cure Tour. In addition to cycling, Michael enjoys hiking 14ers, skiing, racing triathlons, and spending time with his wife, Tiffany, and their golden retrievers, Stella and Riley.
