She then went on to perform her residency in general surgery at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in 2015, her fellowship in advanced thoracic surgery at Swedish Cancer Center in 2016, and her fellowship in cardiothoracic surgery at Allegheny General Hospital in 2018.
