Yeah, sleep apnea is part of your lung deficiency and disharmony of your heart Chanel and with acupuncture you can maximize your breathing capacity and in order to improve your sleep without breathing.
Hello, It depends on the cause of sleep apnea. If it is related to structural issues in the face and sinuses, then no. If it is related to phlegm in the sinuses or other constitutional issues, then yes, the Medical System from Asia or Chinese Medicine diagnosis would determine which treatment to provide through herbal medicine and acupuncture point treatment. For this condition, you will need an herbal formula in addition to acupuncture or either just the herbal formula and not acupuncture.
I suggest you try acupuncture with massage and herbs to help your sleep apnea gradually.
Good question. I don't know if there is any clinical research showing the benefits of acupuncture for sleep apnea, however, I have seen improvements in it clinically. With Chinese Medicine we look at all the reasons why someone might be having it: weight gain, obstructed nasal passageways, alcohol dependency, etc. It won't resolve over night but can definitely improve over time. Hope you decide to try it.
Yes, it is very effective for helping with sleep apnea
yes. I encourage you to book a session with your practitioner of choice to get help with relief.
Unfortunately, there is no data that suggest acupuncture is useful in treating sleep apnea. Certain exercises might be; and there are limited data that learning to play and then regularly practicing on the Didgeridoo, an aboriginal Australian instrument, can diminish sleep apnea.
There are different types of sleep apnea so this is difficult to answer without assessing in person.
I have not heard of an acupuncture treatment for sleep apnea, but you might check with your local practitioner to see if they've found a treatment that helps. New treatments are constantly being formulated.
Yes, acupuncture is good for sleep apnea.
I can’t imagine how that would help snoring. I never read any information in this regard
Not necessarily. Sometimes there are weight issues in play, in those cases an acupuncturist who can provide good diet and lifestyle advice can be helpful; losing weight can often have a positive impact on apnea or snoring. For other issues that can cause apnea, acupuncture will be less useful.
