Breast Cancer

In May 2016 I had a routine Mammogram at the mobile unit nearest to my home. In a little over a week, I was invited to Worthing Hospital for a follow up appointment. At this point I had another mammogram, followed by an Ultrasound and then I had a Biopsy.
Two weeks later I was told that I had Breast Cancer. I saw the Consultant the following day, and was told that he needed to get on with this! He said that it was unlikely that my nearest hospital (Brighton) could do the surgery in the time needed, so he proposed to do the Surgery at the end of that month. He did a Lumpectomy with Lymph removal.
At the follow up appointment I was told that as it was Triple Negative the only course advised was to have Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy? I did transfer to Brighton for this!
I was off work for a year, as I worked in Retail and did not have the stamina? After the year I was assessed, and found that it was impossible for me to do the job? I was dismissed on capability grounds!
