My daughter has inflamed tonsils. How do you treat inflamed tonsils?

If they are chronically inflamed, she may need to have them removed.
If it is caused by a bacterial infection, suck as Strep, she may need to start antibiotics.
You can try warm salt water gargles, vitamin C, and zinc until you get a throat culture.

Get tested for strep. Give her penicillin and swish and spit oral mouth astringent rinses. If young, consider tonsillectomy.
