Am I pregnant?

Hi, I haven't had my period in two months. My last period was on March 12 and I had sex with a condom on March 1. I took 5 pregnancy tests in April and May, and this month they were all negative. But I'm getting nervous because I had acid reflux in the last week of March I don't know if it's pregnancy, PCOS, cysts or just stomach issues. Do you think I'm pregnant? Please help me dr. I can't go to the hospital because of the situation we have right now, COVID. Thanks for your reply!

With the accuracy of home urine pregnancy tests, and doing 5 tests, you are likely not pregnant. So why aren’t you getting your period? NEVER underestimate the power of stress and how stress can actually shut down your female ovulatory system; what that means is that you likely are not ovulating so your body continues to make a lining with your Estradiol or E but it doesn’t know when to release that lining because there is no rise and then fall of Progesterone or P4. A typical menstrual cycle is 28days; d1-4 is your bleed, then you make E along until d14 when your ovaries will typically ovulate; then you make your peak of P4 by d21 and if you are not pregnant, then your P4 levels drop to zero and your lining sheds, starting a new 28day cycle. Stress disrupts this cycle by interfering with ovulation; if that happens, you do not make P4 so your uterus doesn’t know WHEN to bleed so it keeps making a lining. May factors influence whether or not you ovulate but never underestimate what stress can do to prevent ovulation! It does not sound like you are pregnant but you are right that you could be. It could also be something like PCOS. Do not let Covid-19 stop you from seeing a provider. Clinics are very good at keeping you safe.
Hello,

So, home pregnancy tests are EXTREMELY accurate and there it is virtually impossible for it to be a false negative. The most likely thing is that you are just ovulating irregularly. It is the most common reason for the visit to the OB/GYN (other than the annual exam). I certainly would not worry about it. If it starts to annoy you, you can ask your OB/GYN to put you on the birth control pill.
I hope that this helps.

Pregnancy tests are pretty reliable, so it doesn’t sound like you are pregnant. Please make an appointment for your local gynecologist to evaluate why you are not having a period
If you only had sex in March, if you were pregnant, I would expect your preg test would be positive by now. You may have a cyst. You need to be checked out if you are having pain and no period whether your preg test is positive or negative.
Did you have sex in February and also when did you have your period in February? To be absolutely sure you should have a blood test for pregnancy. And finally, if all tests are negative, you will need a work-up for pcos. So, you need to follow up with a gynecologist.
