Cardiologist Questions Heart Failure

Does congestive heart failure cause cardiac arrest?

I was diagnosed with congestive heart failure a few months ago, and have been consistently dealing with the side effects. I've been managing it in the best way I can. But if I don't manage it well, would it cause cardiac arrest?

No, it does not cause cardiac arrest. But if your heart disease is poorly managed, as you say, it can result in severe end-stage heart disease and that may result in cardiac arrest. Discuss your heart management with your cardiologist.
