Orthopedist Questions Elbow pain

How can I stop the pain in my elbow?

I'm a 22-year-old body builder. For the last month or so, my elbow pain has been steadily increasing. The pain has gone from a simple sting to a sharp jolt whenever I do any kind of activity with it. How can I stop the pain in my elbow?

It all depends on the correct diagnosis. See a doctor who specializes in elbow/forearm conditions. They will examine you from your neck to the hand as the problem could always be related to something proximal, local or distal. Once the correct diagnosis is determined, the best plan for treatment can be started.

An assessment from a physical therapist (or anyone with a biomechanical specialty) can determine the reason for your pain. A lot depends on where it started and what movements cause pain
Often elbow pain in weightlifters is from a cartilage injury, which may improve with cortisone injection.
