OB-GYN (Obstetrician-Gynecologist) Questions OB-GYN

What are the side effects of a birth control pill?

I am planning to take Ipill and would like to know what are the side effects?

They are all pretty minor. The amount of hormones has been reduced so much that nausea is extremely rare; the only thing that still worries us is an increased risk of blood clots—but those also are rare. The doctor will tell you when to worry and give you a list of concerns. Please remember that the pills only protect against pregnancy, so be realistic about the risk of sexually transmitted diseases.
