What are the most common injuries in volleyball?

My 13-year-old daughter has decided to join a volleyball team, which starts practice in about a week. What are the most common injuries in volleyball?

The ankle is by far the most common, then hand, shoulder, knee, and low back.
Shoulder, elbow. ACL injuries are all too common in all-girls sports.
Knee, shoulder, wrist and ankle are probably the most common
First off, becoming too single sport specific early on is problematic. I would emphasize several different activities and sports. Don't ignore core strength and flexibility. Specifically though, shoulder injuries can be first on my list. Usually not huge injuries, but more strains, etc. Especially if there is any muscle imbalance. Ankle sprains and occasional fractures, Knee sprains and the occasional ligament injury. Diving toward the floor could be a wrist, etc. That said, rather uncommon to see a serious injury with volleyball.
Volleyball players typically have traumatic injuries like ankle or knee sprains or overuse injuries like rotator cuff injuries. Having good strength is always best for prevention! I hope your daughter has fun and doesn’t get hurt!
